Meet four amazing pioneer women: Mary Bryant, convict escapee; Fanny Macleay, unsung scientist; Eliza Hawkins, child pioneer and Lola Montes, goldfields dancer. All these characters are brilliantly played by extraordinary actress Brigid O'Sullivan.

Wendy and her co-producer daughter Jessica Blaxland Ashby are descendants of Gregory Blaxland.
