Funds are available for author/ illustrator visits to NSW schools and NSW public libraries. Grants will be awarded to applications that can demonstrate geographic, cultural and or economic disadvantage. All applications are welcome.

If you are an author or illustrator, maybe you'd like to contact a library or school you think may be eligible and suggest they apply...and ask your good self to be the invitee!

Westwords Writers' Fellowship

Do you know any new or established western Sydney writers who could use the support of a Writers' Fellowship? We are offering three Fellowships worth $7000 each to writers who can demonstrate a significant connection to the Greater Western Sydney region. Each successful Fellow will have the opportunity to take up a mentorship as part of their Fellowship, and will also be asked to deliver a short program of workshops to young people in the region. Details on our website, where you can download the application guidelines and form. Please share far and wide!
