SCBWI supports Room to Read’s The Gifts of Reading Event on March 20 at The Royal Oak Hotel, Balmain, Sydney with Deborah Abela, Tristan Bancks, Paul Macdonald and Sarah Davis.
Join us for an evening of sparkling conversation with 4 shining stars of the Australian children’s literary world, all of them also writer ambassadors for Room to Read. Inspired by the Gifts of Reading anthology, Deb, Sarah and Tristan will talk about the gifts of reading that they have received, the gifts they’d love to give, and the gifts of reading that Room to Read has given to millions of Children around the world.
Proceeds from this event will support Room to Read's Literacy Program which empowers children to become life-long, independent readers.
