Congratulations to author - and amazing SCBWI committee member - Deborah Abela on the publication of
The Book of Wondrous Possibilities
a junior fiction book for 8 - 12 year olds published by Penguin Random House.
Arlo lives with his mouse and uncle above their bookshop. When a girl called Lisette begs him to hide her from a murderer, he’s swept into a world of kidnappings, dragons and an enemy determined to destroy everything he loves.
The Book of Wondrous Possibilities is about friendship, family and finding out you're braver than you ever thought possible. Oh and a Skymouse.
From my earliest memories, books have offered whole worlds of possibilities and been a safe haven. This book is my unapologetic tribute to books, bookshops, booksellers and librarians and how they save us when we feel lost.
