Picture Book Submission window is coming up:
15 March - 28 March 2020
Wombat Books will only have two submission open window sessions this year for picture books. If you are looking to submit a picture book this year please consider the following:
1) We only take picture books that are aimed at children ages 4-7. We only consider books that can be marketed to school aged audiences. Please do not send us any pre-school, baby or toddler books.
2) Please do not send any educational books. If you have an idea for a non-fiction story at the moment we are not currently accepting these.
3) Please make sure you have read the majority of our picture books. As we are a boutique publisher we are unlikely to do any books similar to what we already have on our list.
4) Remember to put a really good pitch for your book in the box marked description (when uploading on our online platform). We read this first!
5) Follow our submission guidelines exactly.
6) Please only submit one manuscript per submission window.
