What a lovely way to spend a glorious sunny Sunday.... SCBWI NSW had our third Sketch and Scribble, this time at the Art Gallery of NSW led by the ever generous and wonderful, Lindy Batchelor.
Lindy led us through the gallery, giving us snippets of tasty information and we would wander away and draw or write. By the end of the day, such lovely work was made.
Lindy volunteers to show kids through the gallery and gets them excited about art. Which she loves! So we were lucky enough to be part of seeing the gallery through kids’ eyes with Lindy’s expert knowledge. We wandered through some of Lindy’s favourite parts of the gallery, from indigenous art, to early settlement artworks and contemporary Australian art.
