Teresa was only four when the bombing started. For three years, her home of Malta became the most heavily bombed place of WW2. After the war, Teresa's father leaves for Australia, to its promise of peace and a brighter future.
Teresa was inspired by Deb's father, who was born in a cave during one of the raids. He and his family arrived in Australia in the midst of the White Australia Policy, but like many, determined to make this country home.
Sounds inspiring - and very timely. Congrats again Deb!
