One Christmas Eve
Published by Black Dog Books an imprint of Walker Books Australia. Exclusive to Meyer.
The book that inspired the 2016 Meyer Christmas Windows in Melbourne.
Excited children and their parents lined up in Melbourne’s Bourke Street Mall to be among the first to get a glimpse of this year’s spectacular Myer Christmas Windows, based on the new children’s book One Christmas Eve by author Corinne Fenton and illustrator Marjorie Crosby-Fairall.
The story is of a 7 year old girl called Bella who visits Luna Park with her Grandpa on Christmas Eve 1968. Grandpa gives her a silver coin to spend on whatever ride she chooses – then Bella sees the beautiful carousel – ‘Would it be enough for just one ride?’
The book celebrates Christmas, family, caring for one another and people settling in Australia and of course, the magic of Christmas.
You can find Corinne's Myer in store signing dates on her blog.
