SCBWI NSW Sketch & Scribble

Join us for a relaxing day of writing and drawing in the magnificent Botanic Gardens of Sydney. Wander with your SCBWI friends, as we move between fascinating points of interest and are given prompts to spark our imaginations and maybe even create the beginnings of our next project. It's free and will be lots of fun. (There is a donation cost to enter the Calyx.)

Fun Fact: Established in 1816, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is Australia's oldest botanic garden and oldest living scientific institution.

SCBWI Australia East—Sydney—Sketch & Scribble FREE

Join us for a fun, practical day of sketching and scribbling with SCBWI friends in the beautiful surrounds of Centennial Parklands, Sydney.

We will meet at the bells outside Centennial Homestead Cafe. (Make sure to meet at the cafe not the restaurant) The closest entrance is on Lang Rd.

We will be exploring the park and stopping at various points of interest to hear writing and drawing prompts. There'll be lots of opportunity to share if you'd like.

Feel free to bring your lunch and snacks but there are various places to buy food.

Click here for a map of the parklands.

In the event of wet weather we will decamp to Susanne Gervay’s home across the road.

Hope to see you there.
