June Perkins' new poetry and story collection

Congrats to June Perkins on the publication of her collection - 19 poems and 1 story -

Illuminations

Illustrated by Ruha and Miniara Fifita

Published by Gumbootspearlz Press, in paperback

For ages 13+

This poetry and story collection captures the wonder of the act of creation, the burst of excitement associated with the birth of the new, and the challenge and sacrifice involved in bringing inspiration to fruition.

‘Boonah Morning’ has been included in The Red Room Poetry’s ‘In Your Hands’ anthology, to assist poets launching during the pandemic.
Also, June has been commissioned to read for ‘Panacea Poets’ on video for the Queensland Poetry Festival.
