Madelon longs to bring the new baby in Bethlehem a gift like everyone else. But she has nothing ... A poignant story based on the legend of the Christmas rose, or hellebore.
Sure there was a Christmas sales flurry with this one - congrats again Wendy!
Benjamin Johnston has a great free offering for Christmas:
Congrats to Hazel Edwards, whose classic There's a Hippopotamus on Our Roof Eating Cake has been included in the international travelling exhibition
of the world's favourites. The exhibition is also travelling to Japan.
This was thanks to Gosford librarian Claire Stuckey, who recently gave a paper at the International Librarians Conference (IFLA) in France.
Children's Laureate Jackie French's Pete the Sheep was also included.
Yet another win for that timeless hippo - congrats again Hazel!
