New book for Charlie Archbold

Congratulations to author Charlie Archbold on the publication of

The Sugarcane Kids and the Red-Bottomed Boat

a junior fiction book for 8 - 12 year olds soon to be published by Text Publishing.

Andy and Eli live in a small coastal town in far north Queensland. When Eli’s cousin is arrested for theft, they know he is innocent. Clues lead them deep into the mangroves where they find the evidence to save him.

The Sugarcane Kids and the Red-Bottomed Boat was short listed for the Text Prize.
It is an adventure which explores themes of friendship, bravery and justice for middle-grade readers.
