Two new picture books for Libby Hathorn

Libby Hathorn has been busy, with the release of her two new picture books:

A Baby for Loving

illustrated by Tamsin Ainslie
isbn 978 1921894671 (hdbk)

Join this charming family of bears in their garden as they adjust lovingly (including big sister and pet cat and dog) to the new baby. Delightful ink paintings encapsulate the gentle pleasure of an afternoon picnic in the garden as the pets try to play havoc.

Launched at Randwick Public School in August and at the Born to Read 10 Year celebration at Condoblin, NSW in September.

And

Outside

illustrated by Ritva Voutila
isbn 9781921894688 (hdbk)

Like the garden it portrays, Outside is a wonderland waiting to be explored through the magic of the five senses as sister, brother and mother take pleasure in just being outdoors. Its repetitive poetic text and luminous artwork make it a joy to explore as it's being read aloud.

To be launched at the inaugural Society of Women Writers Festival in October at the NSW State Library.

Both books are published by Hardie Grant Little Hare and look wonderful. Congrats Libby!
