There’s an exciting new event open to all book creators at every stage of the journey. Hosted by SCBWI Qld Illustrator Coordinator and local illustrator, Kristen Willis, Art in the Park is a quarterly, free creative meet-up open to everyone (members and non-members welcome!).

At our last two events, energetic fingers crafted mini pocket-sized magazines filled with observational drawings of the gardens, a playful way to capture the colours, textures and stories of the space. It was such a hit that we’re doing it all again… Vol. 3!

Bring a hat, your favourite drawing materials and some sturdy walking shoes.
