Leigh will be talking about his next picture book, Mr Chicken goes to Mars! He will then launch a rocket containing SCBWI TAS’ shiny new Creators’ Brochure, designed by Frances Mackay.

Tasmanian children’s book creators are invited to contribute one published children’s book to our display. You may also bring a display stand and publicity brochures.

SCBWI Tas members who have had books published this year will introduce their book babies.

We will also have selected three minute readings of selected works in progress.

Come along, meet the creators, talk children’s books, and enjoy some light refreshments in the elegant Leadlight Room at Hadleys!

This event is a fundraiser for SCBWI TAS and Taswriters’ Storygig festival.

Cost: $30, or $20 for current SCBWI members.
