Honorary Award for Christina Booth

Honorary Crystal Kite Award for Christina Booth for

Outstanding Service to SCBWI Tasmania

Christina Booth was presented with this award for outstanding service to SCBWI TAS at her final event as co-coordinator. Anne Morgan, coordinator SCBWI TAS, thanked Christina for her years of service and wished her every success.

Christina has shared the coordinator role for eight years and is stepping back to concentrate on her work as a children’s book creator. Christina’s final event was a Sketch and Scribble in Hobart’s Royal Botanical Gardens. A day enjoyed by many of Tasmania’s SCBWI members.

We are all so thankful for Christina’s generosity serving our membership. Enjoy your award and our very best wishes for the future.

Written by Anne Perrottet

For parents and carers - about adventures in parenting

Published June 2022 by Connor Court

Author, Anne Perrottet, is the mother of NSW Premier Dominic. This memoir, life’s work, written long before Dominic became Premier, was always intended to help young parents through sharing stories.

It was a joy to illustrate each chapter of this often funny memoir, intended to be helpful for parents.
Words from the late Maggie Hamilton, ‘…a journey through motherhood, its joys and heartbreaks, its many stretching moments…….and ultimately its rewards….’ It’s my first illustrated book. Black and white illustrations.
