Mountains are memories ...
The story of mountains may be set in stone but they reveal change we can scarcely imagine. Extinctions, volcanoes, dinosaurs ... we all know they existed but how are ancient worlds and their inhabitants connected to us today?

This book tells the story of Hobart's beloved mountain kunanyi/Wellington. Its creation was gratefully supported by the May Gibbs Children's Literature Trust's Ian Wilson Memorial Fellowship in 2020.

What a gorgeous story with beautiful illustrations. We cannot wait to be swept away to the mountains.
