Congratulations to Dimity Powell on the publication of

Oswald Messweather

a picture book for 4-8 illustrated by Siobhan McVey and published by Wombat Books.

Mess and disorder upset Oswald. They make his legs jiggle and his palms itch — all the time. Compulsively counting his crayons helps, but it is so exhausting. How can Oswald untangle the mess of worries in his head? Oswald Messweather suffers from OCD. His story does not focus intently on the educational perspectives of children with OCD rather on the emotional aspects associated with this debilitating condition. It is not a solution but a springboard of hope.
