Rachel Brace's new picture book

May 19, 2019

Congrats to Rachel Brace on the publication of

Max’s Divorce Earthquake

Illustrated by Angela Perrini

Published by Little Steps Publishing, in paperback

For ages 4 - 7.

When Max’s parents tell him they’re divorcing it feels like an earthquake. There are changes to deal with and lots of big feelings. Follow Max as he learns about his emotions and adjusts to life after the ‘divorce earthquake’.

The message is positive. Children are reassured that their feelings are normal, that there is no right or wrong way to feel, that their parents still love and will care for them no matter what, and that he divorce is not their fault.

Much needed - congrats again Rachel!
