Carolyn Eldridge-Alfonzetti's new junior novel

December 19, 2018

Congrats to Carolyn Eldridge-Alfonzetti on the publication of

Around the Globe with Gramps

Illustrated by Teresa Lawrence

Published by Celapene Press, in paperback

For ages 8+.

Lucy feels she’s outgrown the school holidays. Fridays are shared with her retired teacher grandfather doing geography research and international cookery and craft. However, an emergency prompts her to reflect on all they’ve shared and what’s most important in her life.

Sounds great - congrats again Carolyn!

Almut Weiler Anderson's new picture book

December 19, 2018

Congrats to Almut Weiler Anderson on the publication of

Looking for Rosa
A story about finding courage

(English translation of the German title)

Photographs by Ross Anderson and illustrations by Hannah Anderson

Published by Marta Press, Germany, in hardback

For ages 3 - 7 years.

A charming story about a little girl who is challenged to overcome her fear of doing something for herself for the first time. Richly illustrated with photographs and a child’s illustrations, the design is appealing to both children and adults.

The German version of the book came out on December 12. Next year Marta Press will look for an English language publisher to sell the rights.

Fingers crossed - congrats again Almut!

Penny Harrison's new picture book

December 19, 2018

Congrats to Penny Harrison on the publication of

Emily Green’s Garden

Illustrated by Megan Forward

Published by New Frontier, in hardback

For ages 3+.

Emily Green lives in a perfectly lovely house, in a perfectly lovely street where people are always busy and bustling, hurried and hustling. One day she catches a glimpse of something green outside and soon she has created something magical.

Sounds intriguing - congrats again Penny!
