Susanne Gervay wins Lifetime Social Justice Literature Award

October 4, 2015

Congrats to our wonderful RA Susanne Gervay for being awarded a

Lifetime Social Justice Literature Award by the International Literacy Association

for her fantastic body of work!

Susanne's books, published by Harper Collins, which include I am Jack, Being Jack, Butterflies and Elephants Have Wings tackle bullying, disability, inclusion, blending families, war and growing up. They are endorsed by Room to Read, The Cancer Council, Life Education, anti bullying organisations and more, and cover age ranges from 5 - 18.

The Social Justice Award ties in with Susanne's commitment to literacy, education and peace as Writer Ambassador for Room to Read, Role Model for Books in Homes, and Patron of Monkey Baa Theatre.

Richly deserved - congrats once again Susanne!

Milking the Cash Cow
